Chief of army staff general Waker-Uz-Zaman on Thursday inaugurated the newly constructed building named ‘Senaneer’ for army personnel at Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment at Ghatail upazila in Tangail.
He inaugurated the building by unveiling a plaque and releasing balloons at 3:30pm.
Later, the army chief visited different floors of the building and exchanged views with the army personnel and their families.
Earlier, the army chief planted a sapling in front of the newly constructed building.
