Joint secretary Molla Mizanur Rahman joined the Bangladesh Water Development Board as additional director general (administration) on Tuesday.
Before joining the post, he was working as joint project director in the Aspire to Innovate project of the ministry of ICT.
Mizanur, from Magura, obtained his bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees from the department of geology at University of Dhaka. He started his career in 2003 as assistant commissioner and the 3rd class magistrate in the Habiganj district commissioner鈥檚 office.
He served as senior assistant secretary, deputy secretary, and joint secretary in the statistics and information management division, ministry of commerce, energy and mineral resources division, and secondary and higher education division.
