A Dhaka court on Friday sent two central leaders of banned organisation Bangladesh Chhatra League to jail.
They are BCL central organising secretaries Siam Rahman, 28, and Anowar Hossain Naieem, 28.
Police on Friday produced the duo before the Dhaka metropolitan magistrate court on expiry of their two-day remand.
The investigative officer of the case prayed for keeping them behind the bar until the investigation of the case is completed.
Later, Dhaka judicial magistrate Sarah Farzana Haque passed the order. Police arrested Siam in city鈥檚 Adabor area and Naieem at Sripur of Gazipur on Wednesday.
