The Mass Uprising Special Cell on Saturday published the first draft of 858 martyred and 11,551 injured in the student-mass uprising that forced ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina to flee to India, bringing an end to the 15-year fascist Awami League regime.

The first draft of the list will be publicly available on the special cell鈥檚 website (https://musc.portal.gov.bd) for review, verification and update till December 23, said a press release issued from the cell on Saturday.

The Health Services Division, Directorate General of Health Services, district committees in all 64 districts, and Mass Uprising Special Cell are all working to finalise the list of those who were killed and injured during the uprising.

As part of the process, a preliminary list of the martyred and injured individuals have been published, said the press release.

The release has also requested family members, heirs or representatives of the martyred and injured individuals to review, verify or update the information, saying that anyone having feedback, suggestions or valid information for inclusion or exclusion from the published list can notify the cell via emails to [email protected] by December 23.

The government established the Mass Uprising Special Cell under the health services division in October. The Cabinet Division issued an office order notifying its formation on October 28.
