Bangladesh Bridge Authority and Bangladesh Institute of Administration and Management Foundation have signed an agreement for the management of schools located in the rehabilitation area of Dhaka Elevated Expressway PPP project at the BBA conference room in Dhaka recently.
Rashidul Hassan, secretary (routine charge), bridge division and BBA executive director (routine charge), was present as chief guest at the signing ceremony, said a press release on Tuesday.
The agreement was signed by director for administration, Altaf Hossain Sheikh, on behalf of Bangladesh Bridge Authority, and director for education, Mohammad Saidul Arif, on behalf of BIAM Foundation.
With the approval of road transport and bridges adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, the school will be opened from January under the name BIAM Laboratory School Uttara, Dhaka.
It will be the 45th school run by BIAM Foundation.
Senior officials of Bangladesh Bridge Authority and projects under its jurisdiction and BIAM Foundation were present in the event.
