The board of trustees of the Gono Bishwabidyalay held a meeting at the Major Haider auditorium of Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital at Dhanmondi in Dhaka on Monday.
The meeting was presided over by the BoT president of the university Waliul Islam, said a press release.
The meeting decided on several issues, including preparations for organising the 4th convocation of the university, decisions of the special meeting of the syndicate, and the appointment of the convocation speaker.
The meeting was attended by BoT members professor emeritus Serajul Islam Choudhury, Professor Altafunnesa, Dr Abul Kashem Chowdhury, Professor Amirul Islam Chowdhury, Dr Syed Modasser Ali, Professor Dilara Chowdhury, Shirin Parveen Haque, vice-chancellor of the university Professor Md Abul Hossain and acting registrar Abu Muhammad Mukammel.
