Fire broke out at Tekpara slums of Mirpur-14 early Tuesday but no causalities were reported in the incident.
The fire broke out at 1.15am. The fire services, however, were able to bring the fire under control immediately.
鈥榃e received the news of fire at 1.22am and two fire-fighting units were able to bring the fire under control at 1.48am鈥�, said duty officer Rakibul Hasan of the department of fire service and civil defence.
The fire likely erupted from electric short circuit. No causalities, however, were reported due to the fire, he added.
