The board of trustees of Gono Bishwabidyalay has expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the death of former chief election commissioner Justice Mohammad Abdur Rouf.
In a condolence message on Sunday, chairman of the BoT of the university Waliul Islam said that an active member of the BoT of the university, Abdur Rouf, played a very significant role in energising the activities of the BoT with his far-sighted thoughts.
On behalf of the university, vice-chancellor Professor Md Abul Hossain, in a condolence message, prayed for the departed soul of Abdur Rouf and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
