Dhaka Metropolitan Police detective branch on Monday arrested former state minister of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, Awami League lawmaker Dipankar Talukdar.
He was arrested from the capital鈥檚 Sobhanbagh area, DMP media wing confirmed in a message at about 7:50pm.
鈥楾here are several cases against him. We are yet to confirm in which case he will be shown arrested,鈥� said Mohammad Nasirul Islam joint commissioner of DB South.
