The Airport railway police arranged for a woman鈥檚 childbirth at the platform in Dhaka on Monday.
After the woman passenger, Ruma Akhter, 22, arrived at the Airport railway station from Brahmanbaria, she went into labour and was immediately assisted by the railway police to deliver the baby on the platform, said a press release.
The railway police also made arrangements for the admission of the mother and the newborn baby to Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka.
