The names of the winners of the Study UK Alumni Awards 2024-25 in Bangladesh have been announced at a ceremony hosted by the British Council in Dhaka recently.
The awardees were recognised for their outstanding achievements as business professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders and for their contribution to strengthening ties between the UK and Bangladesh, said a press release on Thursday.
The award judging panel selected recipients for the four categories鈥� science and sustainability award, social action award, culture and creativity award and business and innovation award.
Mohammad Abdul Momen, chairman, Anti-Corruption Commission, addressed the event as chief guest. Golam Kibria, education adviser, British high commission in Dhaka, also spoke in the event.
The finalists for this year鈥檚 awards were鈥� Award Syed M Istiak in business and innovation category, Shahman Moishan in culture and creativity category, M Tasdik Hasan in science and sustainability category and Shamsin Ahmed in social action category.
