The newly appointed seven members of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission took oath Sunday morning.
Chief justice Syed Refaat Ahmed administered the oath at swearing-in ceremony at the Supreme Court Judges鈥� Lounge in Dhaka, said a press release.
The newly sworn-in seven members are Professors Md Sharif Hossain and Ferdous Arfina Osman of Dhaka University, Professor Shahnaz Sarkar of Bangladesh Agricultural University, former foreign cadre officer Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury, former health cadre officer ATM Farhad Uddin, Brigadier General (retired) Anwarul Islam and former additional inspector general of police Md Munir Hossain.
On February 19, the government issued a notification, appointing the seven PSC members.
