The vitamin A plus campaign will be held countrywide on March 15.
Professor Dr Anjuman Ara Sultana, line director of National Nutrition Services, said that 2.29 crore capsules would be fed to children aged between six months to 59 months this year.
On Monday, she told 抖阴精品 that children missing the capsule on campaign day would receive it through health assistants seven days after the campaign.
The campaign will run from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
As part of the campaign, the Dhaka South City Corporation in a press release on Monday said that it aimed to provide blue-coloured vitamin capsules to 1.10 lakh children aged between six and 11 months, and red-coloured vitamin capsules to 5.60 lakh children aged between 12 and 59 months.聽
The DSCC campaign will be conducted at 1,827 centres with the help of 3,654 volunteers and 150 supervisors.
The Dhaka North City Corporation aims to provide blue-coloured vitamin capsules to 1.08 lakh children aged 6-11 months, and red-coloured vitamin capsules to 4.80 lakh children aged 12-59 months, said the DNCC public relations officer Mokbul Hossain.
