Dhaka North City Corporation administrator Mohammad Azaz on Saturday said that drives would be conducted after Eid-ul-Fitr to free footpaths from illegal grabbers.
‘The trade licenses of shopkeepers who encroach on the sidewalks will be cancelled and their shops will be sealed off by conducting drive after Eid,’ he told journalists while inspecting the ongoing development work on the Mirpur 60-feet road.

He also said that all roads under construction in the DNCC areas would be completed before Pahela Baishakh.
