A prayer session and commemoration meeting was held for former chairman of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh鈥檚 board of trustees Justice Mohammad Abdur Rouf at the Hamdard conference hall in Dhaka鈥檚 Banglamotor area on Thursday.
Religious affairs adviser Professor AFM Khalid Hossain was present as chief guest while current chairman of the board of trustees, national professor AK Azad Khan, presided over the event, said a press release on Saturday.
The main speaker was Hakim Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan, managing director and chief mutawalli of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh.
Other speakers included Professor Chowdhury Mahmood Hasan, vice-chairman of the trustee board, Waqf administrator Md Fakhrul Islam, and trustee board members Mohammad Abdul Majid, Professor Iqbal Hasan Mahmood and Abul Hossain Khandkar.
On behalf of Justice Mohammad Abdur Rouf鈥檚 family, his eldest son additional attorney general Arshadur Rouf expressed his feelings.
