Twenty dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
During the period, 10 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, four in Chattogram, one in Dhaka south, one in Dhaka North City Corporation and four were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka division, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services.
The total number of case rose to 1,997, while 14 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.
The number of cases rose to 1,01,214, while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported in the past year.
