A memorial in honour of AAMS Arefin Siddique, former vice-chancellor of Dhaka University and Professor of mass communication and journalism department, was held on DU campus on Wednesday.
Mass communication and journalism department organised the event, where DU VC Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan, pro-VC (education) Professor Mamun Ahmed, Arefin Siddique鈥檚 younger brother Atik Ullah Siddique and Professor Sakhawat Ali Khan spoke, said a press release.
Teachers, students, and alumni of the department also shared their memories.
