Four people were killed in road accidents in Sylhet, Brahmanbaria, Sherpur and Patuakhali on Thursday.

抖阴精品 staff correspondent in Sylhet reported that a motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a bus on the Sylhet-Fenchuganj road under Moglabazar in Sylhet in the morning.


The deceased, Ali Ahmed, 36, was a resident of Inat Alipur village under Moglabazar, the police said.

Moglabazar police station officer-in-charge Khandaker Mostafizur Rahman said that the bus and motorcycle involved in the accident were seized but the bus driver and his helper fled the scene.

抖阴精品 correspondent in Brahmanbaria reported that a man was killed as an auto-rickshaw hit him on the Akhaura-Agartala road at Gaziar in the district.

The deceased was Afjal Hossain, 40, an office assistant and computer operator of Chhaygaria Shah Alam High School in Akhaura.

Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha reported that a motorcyclist was killed in a collision between his motorcycle and an easy-bike at Tin Matha road adjacent to Chapli Bazar under Kalapara in Patuakhali.

The deceased was Abdul Quddus, 40, a resident of Nayakata village of the upazila, said Tariqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Mohipur police station.

He said that Abdul was taken to Kalapara Hospital and later died on the way to a Barisal hospital.

The BSS also reported that the mother of a secondary school certificate examinee was killed on the way home after leaving her daughter at the examination centre of Nakla in Sherpur.

The deceased was Shirina Begum, a resident of Reharchar village under Char Ashtadhar of the upazila.
