The Eastern University has recently represented the country in the international phase of the Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2025 held in Washington in the United States.
This year鈥檚 edition of the competition saw a record 805 universities from 104 countries held from March 28 to April 6, said a press release on Saturday.
In this year鈥檚 edition, Eastern University showed quite a good success in the Memorial category. The university鈥檚 written submissions were ranked 74th, surpassing several world-renowned institutions in the world.
In the event, Eastern University achieved 116th place in the overall world ranking, which is the highest among Bangladeshi universities participating in the international phase of the competition this year.
Eastern University authorities extended their sincere thanks and gratitude to the Jessup community, the team鈥檚 coaches, mentors and everyone who has supported them in various ways throughout this journey.
