The International Farakka Committee Bangladesh will observe the Farakka Long March Day on May 16.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the IFC Bangladesh, with its president, Mostafa Kamal Majumder, in the chair, according to a press release on Saturday.
Chief adviser of the IFC Professor Jasim Uddin Ahmad, advisers Saiful Haque and Elahi Newaz Khan and general secretary Syed Mahmudul Hasan Mukut were present at the meeting, among others.
