The Gono Bishwabidyalay organised an event to mark the second anniversary of death of freedom fighter and Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder, Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury, at the academic building auditorium of the university of Savar in Dhaka on Sunday.
Vice-chancellor of the university Professor Md Abul Hossain, dean of the faculty of agriculture Professor Md Fazlul Karim, and member of the Gonoshasthaya Kendra Trust Dr Manjur Qadir Ahmed, among others spoke about the life and work of Zafrullah Chowdhury, a visionary of Gono University, at the event, said a press release.
Treasurer, registrar, teachers and students and staffs of the university were present in the event.
