A man electrocuted at Hazirhayt village in Lakshmipur Sadar upazila on Sunday morning.
The deceased, Kawsar Ahmed, 35, was the son of Omar Farooq, a resident of Goja-Kadira area of the upazila.
Kawsar came in contact with a live electric wire while starting a sawmill machine at about 10:30am, said Lakshmipur Sadar police station officer-in-charge M Abdul Monnaf.
Kawsar died on the way to Sadar hospital, he added.
