A student of Primeasia University was stabbed to death during a clash with fellow students of the university on its campus in the capital鈥檚 Banani area on Saturday.
The deceased is Jahidul Islam, a student of the Textile department at the university, the police said.
Banani police station officer-in-charge Md Rasel Sorwar said that the
police were informed about the incident at about 5:00pm.
鈥楢 clash between students of the Textile department and the English department occurred on the university campus. The reason behind the clash could be known after an investigation,鈥� he said.
Jahidul had injury marks on his chest, OC Rasel said.
The body was recovered and sent to Kurmitola General Hospital, he said.
No case was lodged and none was arrested until Saturday evening, the police said.
