The hanging body of a police constable was recovered from the toilet in a building of Rajshahi Police Lines on Sunday morning.

The deceased is Masud Rana, 34, a resident of Panchshisha village under Gurudaspur upazila in Natore. He was stationed at Jogipara police outpost under Baghmara upazila in Rajshahi.

According to the police, Masud recently came to the divisional police hospital for treatment and was staying in a barracks in the district police lines.

On Sunday morning, other police personnel found his body hanging in the toilet of the barracks and informed the higher authorities.
