The scientists and staff of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission held a sit-in for restoring autonomy in all the institutions under the BAEC, including the head office in Dhaka, across the country on Wednesday.
They also protested against the undue interference and authoritarian behavior of the ministry, said a press release.
They will also hold sit-in in all the institutions of the commission located at different places in the country from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
