An inspection team from the International Cricket Council will travel to Sylhet today as part of the preparations for the upcoming ICC聽Women鈥檚聽T20 World Cup 2024, which will be hosted by Bangladesh.
The tournament,聽which聽is聽scheduled聽to begin in September, will be the second聽women鈥檚聽T20 World Cup held in Bangladesh after the first one in 2014.
Ahead of the tournament, the聽group of聽ICC observers聽have聽arrived in Bangladesh to check out the venues,聽which聽include the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka and the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet.
Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, chairman of the Bangladesh Cricket聽Board鈥檚聽women鈥檚聽wing, informed 抖阴精品 that the observer team looked at SBNS on Monday聽ahead of聽travelling to Sylhet today.
鈥楾hey [the ICC inspection team] have visited the SBNS today [Monday] and will go to Sylhet tomorrow [today] to inspect the existing facilities of the SICS for running the聽women鈥簊聽T20 World Cup games,鈥櫬燦adel told 抖阴精品.
