Bangladesh Cricket Board recalled pacer Jahanara Alam and Sharmin Akter for Bangladesh women鈥檚 team鈥檚 forthcoming white-ball series against Ireland on Monday.
Pacer Jahanara has been called into the team after an 18-month hiatus. The right-arm medium pacer last played an ODI in May, while Sharmin last featured in July 2023.
Taj Nehar and Sanjida Akhter Meghla earned their maiden call-up for the ODIs.
Disha Bishwas, Sumaiya Akter, Nishita Akhter, and Farzana Haque Lisa, who were part of the Australia series, were dropped.
The Ireland women鈥檚 team will arrive in Dhaka on November 22 for three ODIs and as many T20Is as part of the ICC FTP programme.
The ODIs will be played in Mirpur on November 27, 30, and December 2, while the T20Is will take place in Sylhet on December 5, 7, and 9.
