This year in the Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations among the nine general boards, Jashore saw the highest pass rate — 92.33 per cent — while Sylhet saw the lowest pass rate — 73.35 per cent.
The Sylhet education board had the lowest pass rate for the third consecutive year.
The pass rate was 83.92 per cent in Dhaka board, 89.26 per cent in Rajshahi Board, 89.13 per cent in Barishal Board, 85 per cent in Mymensingh Board, 79.23 per cent in Cumilla Board, 82.8 per cent in Chattogram Board, and 78.43 per cent in Dinajpur Board.
