Milestone College English Club held a reception for meritorious students, who obtained GPA-5 in the 2024 SSC examinations from the college, at the Kamaluddin seminar hall on the college campus in Dhaka鈥檚 Uttara area on Saturday.聽
Advisor of the college colonel Nurun Nabi (retired) was present as the chief guest and principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam was the special guest at the event, said a press release.
Principal of Milestone School, Uttara sector-4 campus, Md Nurur Rahman and senior director (administration) Md Masud Alam were present as the guests of honour. Vice-principals, directors and teachers of the college participated in the ceremony.
Nurun Nabi and Mohammad Ziaul Alam handed over crests to the students, who obtained GPA-5 in the SSC exams this year from the college.
In 2024, a total of 1,750 students participated in the SSC exams from Milestone College in Bangla medium and English version, where the pass rate was 100 per cent and 1,298 students got GPA-5.
