The authorities of Islamic University have launched a Japanese language programme on the campus in Kushtia under its Institute of Islamic Education and Research.

A press release, signed by IIER director Professor M Mamunur Rahman, was issued in this regard on Wednesday.


Two Japanese teachers, Endo Sei and Endo Yoshimi, will teach the students.

They would also provide job to those who would fulfil all the requirements in the programme, officials at IIER said.

'We have already published the admission circular for enrolling students under the programme,’ Professor M Mamunur Rahman said.

The admission seekers for the programme were asked to deposit Tk 500 to account no-6947 of Agrani Bank, Islamic University Branch by July 14.
