North South University three undergraduate students have recently presented a research paper at the INFORMS ISMS Marketing Science Conference 2024 in Sydney, Australia.

Hosted by the University of New South Wales under the theme Smarter Decisions for a Better World, the conference was held in June 27-29 at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, said a press release on Friday.


The paper, titled Consumer Responses to Brand Ethicality: The Roles of Brand Credibility, Brand Trust, and Emotional Attachment, has been co-authored by Mahmud Hassan, and three marketing department students — Tawsif Abrar Faiyaz, Nur Afrin Chowdhury Ananna, and Maisha Jahin.

These NSU students started their research journey of setting this paper as a part of their coursework for marketing research unit under the mentorship of Mahmud Hassan, chairperson of the department of marketing and international business.

On behalf of the team, Tawsif Abrar Faiyaz delivered a presentation at the conference in Sydney.
