Rajshahi University authorities have decided to hold the admission tests for the undergraduate courses for the 2024-25 sessions at five regional centres in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Khulna, and Chattogram.
The decision was taken at the academic council鈥檚 meeting held on Tuesday evening, which was chaired by the university vice-chancellor Professor Saleh Hasan Naqib.
RU pro-VC for administration Professor Mohammad Main Uddin said that the RU previous administration at an academic council meeting on May 30 took a decision to conduct admission tests in four divisional cities.
鈥榃e, however, have included Rangpur city as a regional centre to ease the difficulties faced by admission seekers,鈥� he added.
