Bangladesh University of Professionals held the fresher reception 2024-2025 for the newly enrolled students on the BUP campus in Dhaka on Sunday.

Vice-chancellor of the BUP, Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, was present on the occasion as chief guest, said a press release. 


At the outset of the programme, the newly enrolled students were briefed on academic and administrative affairs of the BUP. 

The VC congratulated the students on getting admitted to the BUP, saying that a student at the tertiary level must ponder on inculcating qualities such as discipline, tolerance, empathy, honesty, integrity, self-confidence, learning ability and moral values.

He also said that the BUP offered a kind of education that enabled one to understand the realities better. ‘The BUP recognises the importance of addressing society’s specific needs and aspirations as well as strengthening the societal fabric, ethical standards and moral values.’

In line with the commitment to providing education, the BUP underscores the importance of outcome-based and need-based education, he added.

Pro-VC of the university Professor Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain along with the BUP high officials, faculty members, staffs and students were present in the programme.
