Abahani Limited came from one goal down to beat Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club 2-1 in their return-leg match of the Bangladesh Premier League at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj on Friday.
In the day鈥檚 other match, Syed Shah Quazem鈥檚 26th minute strike helped Police Football Club earn a 1-0 win over Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra at the Rofique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.
In Gopalganj, Sk Jamal went ahead with midfielder Md Abdullah鈥檚 eighth minute strike while Abahani鈥檚 Brazilian midfielder Jonathan Fernandes scored the equaliser in the 28th minute before Grenadian forward Cornelius Stewart scored the match-winner in the first minute of the stoppage time of the first half.
In their first leg matches, Abahani beat Sk Jamal 1-0 while Sk Russel defeated Police FC by same margin.
