Bangladesh will face hosts Vietnam in their Group A third match of the AFC Under-20 Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers at the Lach Tray Stadium, Hai Phong, Vietnam today.
The match is scheduled to begin at 6:00pm Bangladesh Standard Time.
Maruful Haque鈥檚 charges still have the chances on paper to overcome the group stage hurdle after they played a 2-2 draw against Guam in their previous match.
Bangladesh, who started their campaign with a 4-0 loss to Syria, are placed in fourth place of the five-team group with one point, while Vietnam are leading the table with six points from two games.
Vietnam began their campaign with a thumping 5-0 win over Bhutan before a 3-0 win against Guam in their second game.
However, the 10-group winners and five best runners-up of the 45-team qualifiers tournament will join hosts China in the 16-team final stage to be held from February 6 to 23, 2025.
