Bangladesh will take on the Philippines in their second match of the AFC Under-17 Asian Cup 2025 qualifiers at the National Sports Complex in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, today.聽
The match will begin at 6:00pm Bangladesh Standard Time.聽
Bangladesh are in fourth position of the five-team Group B after conceding a 1-0 defeat to hosts and tabletoppers Cambodia in the first match on October 19.聽
Saiful Bari Titu鈥檚 charges must finish among the top two in their group if they want to go further, as only the top 10 group winners and the top five runners-up will advance to the tournament finals in Saudi Arabia.
Bangladesh will face Macau and Afghanistan on October 25 and 27, respectively, in their other group matches.
Cambodia are topping the table with six points, with also a 1-0 win over bottom-placed Macau, while Afghanistan and the Philippines were placed in second and third, respectively, with identical three points.聽
Philippines crushed Macau 7-0 in the group opener before they suffered an 8-0 defeat to Afghanistan in their second match.聽
