The Bangladesh Jewelers Association has reduced the price of gold again by Tk 2,139 a bhari (11.664 grams) after the price of the precious metal drop on the local market.
The new rate is effective from Wednesday. On Tuesday, the price of gold has been reduced by Tk 3,136 a bhari.
According to the new pricing, the price of high-quality 22-carat gold is set at Tk 1,14,151 a bhari, 21-carat gold at Tk1,09,000 a bhari, 18-carat gold at Tk 93,429 a bhari, and the traditional method price set at Tk 75,209.
