Rear Admiral SM Moniruzzaman has been appointed as chairman of the Chattogram Port Authority recently, said a press release. He replaced Rear Admiral M Sohail as chairman of the CPA.
He has also served as Bangladesh Shipping Corporation managing director, DEW managing director, Sena Kallyan Sangstha DGMIS and Commander Chattogram naval area鈥檚 Chief of Staff.
He joined the navy in 1988 as an officer cadet.
