The overall inflation in August in Bangladesh eased but still prevailed over double digit for the second consecutive month.
The Bangladeshi Bureau of Statistics recorded 10.49 per cent in the past month, down from 11.66 per cent in July.
The food inflation that was spiked at 14.10 per cent in July also dropped at 11.36 per cent in August.
