BAT Bangladesh has been listed in Bloomberg鈥檚 sustainability list for its environmental, social and governance practices for the second consecutive year, said a press release.
Shabab Ahmed Choudhury, head of corporate and regulatory affairs at BAT Bangladesh, said the company was the only one in the country to secure core certification by the Alliance for Water Stewardship for good water governance across all its manufacturing sites.
Alongside responsible resource management, the company is committed to achieving carbon neutrality in its direct operations by 2030, he added. 鈥� Press release
