Nagad has collaborated with Trust Bank to facilitate international money transfers through Western Union, said a press release.
Bangladeshis worldwide can now send money back home to Nagad wallets.
Nagad administrator Muhommad Badiuzzaman Dider, Trust Bank senior executive vice-president Mohammad Masud Shahjahan and Western Union鈥檚 South Asia regional operations manager Shihab Hasan exchanged documents after signing an agreement in this regard at Nagad office in Dhaka recently.
Registered Nagad users can now receive remittances directly into their wallets. This deal includes the government鈥檚 incentive of Tk 25 for every Tk 1,000 received.
