Pubali Bank PLC and Dhaka Residential Model College Science Club initiated a tree planting programme at the college premises as a part of the bank鈥檚 CSR on Thursday.
Mohammad Ali, managing director and CEO of Pubali Bank was present as chief guest. AKM Abdur Raqib, general manager and RM of Dhaka north region of Pubali Bank was present as special guest.
Dhaka Residential Model College principal Brigadier General Mohammed Zaber Hossain presided over the event.
Managing director and CEO of Pubali Bank Mohammad Ali said, 鈥榃e have to be more conscious in protecting the environment to save ourselves as well as the development of the society. In this regard, plantation programs and voluntary activities should be strengthened and investments should be increased.鈥�
He emphasised the elimination of foreign trees and planting of indigenous trees. He also highlighted proper care and preservation of trees apart from planting trees.
