A 123-member committee of the Nationalist Bankers Association Sonali Bank PLC has been formed.
Former Chhatra Dal central executive member senior principal officer of Sonali Bank Mahbub Sohel Bappi has been made president of the committee and former Dhaka University Chhatra Dal leader principal officer Md Shahe Alam has been appointed as general secretary.
The committee includes Midford branch manager Md Shahjahan Siraj and Segunbagicha branch manager Md Shafiqur Rahman as senior vice-presidents, Sohel Raihan as senior joint general secretary and Md Abu Nayem as organising secretary.
The committee has been approved by the convener of the Nationalist Bankers Association central committee Md Iqbal Hossain (Janta Bank) and member secretary Md Mostafizur Rahman Mostaq (Sonali Bank).
