Dhaka Bank PLC launched real time collection of holding tax and trade licence fee of Dhaka South City Corporation in an event at Nagar Bhaban in Dhaka on Monday, said a press release.
Dhaka Bank deputy managing director Sheikh Abdul Bakir and Dhaka South City Corporation chief executive officer Bashirul Haque Bhuyan launched the service.
Among others, DSCC chief waste management officer Air Commodore Md Mahabubur Rahman Talukder, chief revenue officer Md Moniruzzaman, chief estate officer Kizer Mohammad Farabi, Dhaka Bank liability and cash management unit head Mosleh Saad Mahmud, general services division head Altamas Nirjhar and information technology division head Md Asif Hossain were present at the launching ceremony.
Dhaka Bank will enable the residents to pay fees and taxes online on real-time basis through Dhaka Bank mobile app and internet banking by the end of January, the release said.
