A Bangladesh Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry delegation called on Nina P Cainglet, Philippine ambassador to Bangladesh, on Tuesday, said a press release.
The BPCCI team was led by its president Humayun Rashid, while vice-president Imran Ahmed was also present.
During the meeting, the delegation from BPCCI discussed pivotal topics and underscored the need for strengthening economic ties between Bangladesh and the Philippines.
Prospective sectors for increasing bilateral ties included market development of agricultural products and services, skill development and technology training transfer, air connectivity and logistics and communication services.
