Sultana Sarifun Nahar has been appointed as deputy managing director of Pubali Bank PLC, said a press release.
Prior to this, she served as general manager and head of the principal branch of the bank.
She completed her postgraduate degree from Eden Mohila College, affiliated with the University of Dhaka, and began her career as a lecturer in economics. She also served as an examiner for the Dhaka Education Board.
She embarked on her banking career in 1997 as a probationary senior officer at Pubali Bank.
