National Credit and Commerce Bank PLC has distributed tree agricultural materials and machinery free of cost among 500 flood-affected and marginal farmers of Maijdee and Chowmuhani in Noakhali under special CSR in the agricultural sector.
Deputy managing director and company secretary of NCC Bank Md Monirul Alam distributed various types of vegetables, rice seeds, fertiliser, pesticides and backpack spray machines among the farmers as chief guest at a ceremony held at Maijdee recently, said a press release on Sunday.
Besides, SVP and manager of Panthapath branch Muhammad Shahidul Islam graced as special guest at the event, which was presided over by SVP and regional head of South-East Region Mohammad Nurul Haque.
Manager of Maijdee SME/Agri branch Md Abdul Khaleque along with managers of other branches of NCC Bank were also present at the ceremony.

In this context, NCC Bank has been distributing various types of vegetable seeds, fertiliser, pesticides and machinery free of cost in different regions of the country under special CSR programme to increase agricultural production in the country,鈥� said Monirul Alam.
He also expressed that this initiative would help the marginal farmers to cultivate various vegetable crops as well as to increase their production.
