Mercantile Bank PLC organised a daylong session titled ‘Knowledge Sharing on Shari’ah Banking: an Interactive Session’ at Fars Hotel in the capital Dhaka on Saturday, said a press release.
Mercantile Bank managing director Mati Ul Hasan was present as chief guest at the session.
Among others, deputy managing director and chief of Islamic banking Md Zakir Hossain, DMDs Adil Raihan, Shamim Ahmed, Ashim Kumar Saha and Md Zahid Hossain, CFO Taposh Chandra Paul, Shariah supervisory committee chairman Shah Muhammad Waliullah, and deputy chief of Islamic banking Mohammad Mijanur Rahman Sharker were present.
Javed Tariq, principal of the bank’s training institute moderated and conducted sessions.
