
The 19th edition of ‘Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition’ or DTG is going to start on February 20, said a press release signed by BTMA secretary general Brigadier General Md Zakir Hossain.
The four-day expo, organised by the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association in collaboration with Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co, Limited, Hong Kong, will be held from February 20 to 23 at International Convention City Bashundhara, Dhaka.
Sk Bashir Uddin, adviser to the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Textiles and Jute, will inaugurate the exhibition on February 20.
The DTG 2025 will feature 1,600 stalls and over 1,100 top brands from 33 countries, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in textile technology. Enterprises from China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea and Turkey, among other countries, will participate in the event.
The exhibition will highlight advancements in textile machinery, fabric production, dyeing technology and accessories.
The DTG 2025 will feature discussions on sustainable manufacturing and the latest textile technologies, DTG fashion show featuring innovative textile designs and provide networking and business for industry professionals, manufacturers and suppliers.
The exhibition aims to attract local entrepreneurs to invest in the industry while introducing them to cutting-edge technologies. As a mini International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITME) of Southeast Asia, the textile and garment machinery exhibition enhances the global image of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association and Bangladesh, the release said.
