Azizur Rahman FCMA has been elected chairman of Khulna Branch Council of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh for the term 2025 in the 1st meeting of KBC held on Friday.
The council also elected SM Zakir Hossain ACMA as vice-chairman, Md Mominur Islam ACMA as secretary and Lawrence Oli Gomes ACMA as treasure of KBC.
Immediate past chairman of KBC KM Neamul Hoque FCMA presided over the meeting.
Newly elected chairman Azizur is serving as branch manager, Eastern Bank PLC, Mongla Branch.
SM Zakir Hossain is currently working as deputy manager of Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd.
Md Mominur Islam is currently working as manager, Ircon International Limited.
Lawrence Oli Gomes is currently working as account in-charge of Basundhara Group (Cement unit) at Mongla Plant.
